FAULT 3.1 — Shutter Failure — Machine Locked Out

Shutter sensor degradation, motor seizure, control board signal loss, or mechanical blade jam. Replace shutter sensor or full shutter assembly, recalibrate timing, clean optical path.

FAULT 3.2 — Shutter Position Error

Shutter position sensor reading mismatch, typically from sensor contamination or stepper motor loss of sync. Clean or replace position sensor, recalibrate shutter home position.

FAULT 5.1 — Power Supply Voltage Out of Tolerance

HVPS output voltage deviates beyond tolerance. Caused by capacitor aging, board failure, or mains instability. Calibrate or replace HVPS, inspect capacitor bank, verify mains power stability.

FAULT 5.2 — Power Supply Charge Fault

Capacitor bank fails to charge to target voltage within specified time. Caused by capacitor aging, charge circuit fault, or abnormal flashlamp impedance. Test capacitor bank capacitance, replace aged capacitors, diagnose charge circuit, inspect flashlamp condition.

FAULT 5.3 — Power Supply Overvoltage Protection Triggered

HVPS output exceeds safe upper limit, triggering OVP. Caused by regulator circuit failure or capacitor short. Immediate shutdown, replace HVPS regulator circuit or full board, comprehensive capacitor inspection.

FAULT 7.1 — Coolant Temperature High

Coolant temperature exceeds safe threshold. Caused by blocked radiator, fan failure, low coolant level, or high ambient temperature. Clean radiator, inspect fan operation, top up coolant, verify room temperature within spec.

FAULT 7.2 — Coolant Flow Insufficient

Flow sensor detects flow below minimum requirement. Caused by pump wear, pipe blockage, or low water level. Replace pump, flush pipes, top up coolant, recalibrate flow sensor.

FAULT 7.3 — Coolant Conductivity Out of Range

Coolant conductivity outside allowed range. Caused by mineral buildup from infrequent water changes or use of non-spec water. Replace deionized water, flush cooling circuit, replace DI resin filter cartridge.

FAULT 7.4 — Liquid Temperature Sensor Fault

Temperature sensor reading out of range or signal lost. Sensor failure or wiring issue. Replace temperature sensor, inspect and repair wiring connections.

FAULT 7.5 — Coolant Leak Detected

Internal leak sensor detects moisture. Caused by aged pipe joints, damaged O-rings, or pump seal failure. Immediate shutdown, locate leak, replace seals or pipes, dry affected circuit boards.

FAULT 12.1 — Flashlamp Energy Insufficient

Flashlamp at end of life or premature aging, output energy below minimum threshold. Caused by lamp explosion, carbonization, or cavity contamination. Replace flashlamp, deep clean laser cavity, calibrate energy output.

FAULT 12.2 — Flashlamp Life Warning

Flashlamp pulse count approaching manufacturer-recommended replacement threshold. Preventive warning. Schedule flashlamp replacement, take opportunity for cavity cleaning and full service.

FAULT 12.3 — Flashlamp Ignition Failure

Flashlamp fails to ignite. Caused by trigger circuit fault, electrode wear, or HV power supply issue. Diagnose trigger circuit, replace flashlamp, inspect HVPS output.

FAULT 14.1 — 755nm Simmer Extinguished

755nm laser simmer current interrupted. Caused by simmer circuit board failure, flashlamp aging, or power supply issue. Repair or replace simmer circuit board, diagnose flashlamp and power supply.

FAULT 15.1 — Delivery System Low Transmission

Laser delivery efficiency below safe threshold. Caused by sapphire window contamination/damage, fiber optic aging, or optical component misalignment. Clean or replace sapphire window, replace fiber optic cable, realign optical path.

FAULT 15.2 — Delivery System Energy Inconsistency

Energy output variation between consecutive pulses exceeds allowed range, affecting treatment efficacy and safety. Clean optical components, calibrate energy monitor, diagnose flashlamp consistency.

FAULT 16.1 — Sapphire Window Temperature High

Sapphire window cooling system abnormal, window temperature exceeds safe limit. Caused by insufficient cooling gas pressure or blocked cooling line. Check cooling gas pressure, clean cooling lines, replace sapphire window cooling assembly if needed.

FAULT 20.1 — DCD Cryogen Spray Fault

Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) fails to spray cryogen. Caused by nozzle blockage, empty cryogen canister, or solenoid valve failure. Replace cryogen canister, clean or replace nozzle, diagnose solenoid valve.

FAULT 20.2 — DCD Spray Timing Error

DCD spray timing out of sync with laser pulse. Caused by control board fault or timing calibration drift. Recalibrate DCD timing, replace DCD control board if necessary.

FAULT 1.1 — System Communication Error

Communication interrupted between main controller and subsystems. Caused by loose cables, board failure, or software issue. Inspect all internal cable connections, restart system, replace main board or reflash firmware if needed.

FAULT 1.2 — System Initialization Failure

Power-on self-test failed, system cannot complete initialization sequence. Caused by firmware corruption, hardware fault, or power issue. Restart system, reflash firmware if issue persists, diagnose hardware fault points.

FAULT 2.1 — Safety Interlock Triggered

Machine safety interlock triggered. Caused by open cover, emergency stop activation, or safety circuit fault. Confirm all covers closed, reset emergency stop, diagnose safety circuit if issue persists.

FAULT 2.2 — Cover Open Warning

Cover sensor detects cover not fully closed, or sensor failure. Confirm cover fully closed, clean sensor contacts, replace sensor if necessary.

FAULT 8.1 — Energy Monitor Calibration Failure

Energy monitor cannot complete auto-calibration. Caused by monitor aging, optical contamination, or calibration circuit fault. Clean energy monitor optical surface, re-run calibration procedure, replace energy monitor if needed.

FAULT 8.2 — Energy Reading Out of Range

Energy monitor reading deviates excessively from set value. Caused by flashlamp degradation, optical contamination, or monitor fault. Clean optical components, recalibrate, diagnose flashlamp, replace energy monitor if needed.

PM DUE — Preventive Maintenance Due

Machine has reached manufacturer-recommended maintenance interval (typically 6 months or specific pulse count), requiring comprehensive service. Schedule comprehensive service: cavity cleaning, consumable replacement, energy calibration, cooling system inspection.

FL LIFE — Flashlamp End of Life

Flashlamp pulse count has reached manufacturer replacement threshold. Continued use risks energy instability or sudden explosion. Schedule immediate flashlamp replacement with cavity cleaning and full service.

VB-FAULT 3 — Vbeam Shutter System Fault

Vbeam shutter fails to open/close properly, affecting pulsed dye laser output. Caused by shutter motor or sensor fault. Replace shutter assembly, recalibrate shutter timing.

VB-FAULT 7 — Vbeam Cooling System Warning

Vbeam coolant temperature or flow abnormal, requires immediate cooling system inspection. Inspect coolant level, pump operation, and radiator condition.

VB-FAULT 12 — Vbeam Dye Cell Energy Insufficient

Dye cell concentration degraded or dye cell aging, causing insufficient energy output. Replace dye cell, recalibrate energy output.

GMP-FAULT 4.1 — 1064nm Nd:YAG Energy Insufficient

1064nm Nd:YAG laser energy output below set value. Caused by crystal aging, cavity contamination, or KTP crystal issue. Clean laser cavity, calibrate 1064nm energy, replace laser crystal if necessary.

GMP-FAULT 4.2 — 755nm / 1064nm Wavelength Switch Fault

Dual-wavelength switch mechanism fault, cannot switch between 755nm and 1064nm. Caused by switch motor or position sensor failure. Repair or replace wavelength switch mechanism, recalibrate switch positions.
